ring, ring, why don't you give me a call?

Hello Granma?
How did you get inside this small phone?

All kids go through the "loving the phone stage".

Georgie will ring "friends" and any imaginary people she can think of and have the most wonderful one sided conversations with them it's really cute.
James likes pushing the buttons and also just listening to the ring tone.
He likes to hear other people on the end talking to him, but after a few words the novelty seems to wear off. He does think though, if he sees anyone, and I do mean anyone - strangers in the shops even, on a phone or near a phone, that they should let him talk too. He spotted a phone at the checkout in the grocers the other day and was very insistent that Daddy would be on the other end if we gave it to him.

We just got new phones... something about a lower frequency so as not to interfere with the wireless network? what I choose to hear "blah blah blah blah clear reception, blah blah blah Internet will work while you're on the phone, blah blah blah frequency" :o) yes dear I do listen to you.

Anyway the new phones are slinky and funky and seem to work very well.
Guess the kids can call whoever they like on the old ones now.
