the boys club

The other day we stopped at the park after dance class.

and Jamie was absolutely taken with all the boys in the park.

There was one older boy, in particular, who caught his fancy.
Even though this boy was playing chasey with a couple of other kids he seemed very happy to stop and keep Jamie amused for a good 15 minutes. In fact the harder Jamie laughed at him the more he threw himself on the ground making only the strange faces and weird noises a primary school boy can.

In his own mind Jamie is at least 4, if not 5 or 6 and is ready to take off and play with all these kids.
He's a charmer too, they all seem to stop and talk to him and are happy to play with him as well. It's cute to see the boys coming down to a baby's level and being gentle and funny.
(The girls just adore him, but he's used to having the chicks drool all over him so that's no big deal.)

But world, I'm warning you, watch out for this kid, he's going to smooth talk his way into big trouble and if his dulcit tones and poetic words don't get you, those big dark eyes will.
