Georgie loves it when we make pancakes on the weekend.
She knows exactly what to do and could probably make them herself (no we don't let her near the stove...yet). We all have to have specific coloured plates and she has her own little rituals with the whole pancake thing.
It seems she now has a cohort in pancake day....
Jamie loves pancakes and managed to eat twice as many this weekend as Georgie.
However his weren't smothered in maple syrup.
And he hasn't started to ask for difficult shapes yet. (Mummy can you make me a smiling butterfly?)
Pancake Sunday used to involve watching Mary Poppins as well. It was always Mary Poppins, not quite sure why but she was adament. The tv in the living room doesn't have a dvd player hooked up to it yet, so wehad to watch Lightning McQueen and his Car buddies for the umm... 76,923 time. (Georgie actually recites the whole first scene - her favourite, now.)
Anyway... let's ask Jamie how he likes pancake Sunday and those yummy warm pancakes Mummy keeps handing over.
Pancake Sunday - now a tradition in our happy family.
Oh, and he also likes bananas - not quite as much as those nice Hawaiian ones, but still they're pretty good...

... especially the outside bit.
