So go to Clowntown, things'll be great when you're in Clowntown - no finer place for sure, Clowntown - everythings waiting for youuuuuu
We've been going to Clowntown for the last couple of Fridays for Georgie to blow off some steam and for me to, sort of, have a rest. Each time we've run into one of the girls who lives down the back of Melrose Park - and who has also had renovations done to her house, in fact she recommended a builder who lead to finding our good kitchen guy, but I digress. We've seen Jo, Will (who's Georgie's age) and Max (who's six months older than Jamie) and then met a few other mothers from MP which has been good. All have had kids around Georgie's age - boys unfortunately but a friend is a friend as far as Georgie goes. (You can just see Jo in the first photo, she's standing up with the yellow and blue tshirt on)Anyway, Georgie loves playing at Clowntown although she hasn't worked up the courage to climb to the top of the extremely tall tower yet, I think she has been shoved by the bigger kids a couple of times, so we'll get Dan to go to the top with her one weekend. Little Clowntown has enough to keep her busy because she loves the jumping castle, bikes and balls and building with the gigantic foam blocks. She's a very good 'player', mindful of the little kids and stands up to the big kids, so I'm happy to leave her playing and have a cuppa. When Jem has a nap I even get to catch up on a bit of reading. When Jamie's awake he loves Clowntown too.... my kids are anything but shy! This one especially. He loves other children (and grown ups too) and he has so much fun playing in Little Clowntown. Georgie is wonderfully thoughtful with him and loves to make him laugh by falling over or pulling silly faces or just playing with him. She is a very wonderful big sister.
My two shy little wall flowers... :o)))
Both of them at the bottom of the little foam slide. Georgie spent ages going down this with Jamie and he loved it.
That's them at the top of the slide. (Can you see his two big bottom teeth?)
Happy kids mean happy Mummy!
Look at me Mummy. He's cute on his tummy, but he desperately wants to get up and run after Georgie - crawling isn't an option.
Laughing his head off after sliding down the little slide.
Georgie was piling the balls on him and he was just enjoying sitting in here playing with her. He's sitting up is so well - he is determined to sit up so he can play with G.
