Kiwi fruit, kat and khildren

On the pergola outside the back door there is a kiwi fruit vine.
Despite Mum's best attempts I'm not sure these fruit have ever actually been sweet enough to eat, no matter how long you leave them to ripen.

That doesn't mean you can just leave the fruit up there. It has to come down.
This year someone nice and tall had come to visit to help cut down the fruit.
He brought with him two small helpers and a photographer.
While there he attracted the attention of one very fluffy, very evil ginger kat, which is unfortunate as tall kiwi fruit picker is allergic to kats.
The small helpers (khildren) on the other hand love said evil kat, evil kat is still evil to them.
Ko-operation.

Evil kat checking on khildren's work.
Chief small person with her first basket full...
More baskets were called for - one each because sharing had worn off!
2 baskets, it's now a competition... how many can you get in your basket.
She's holding him back under the guise of occupational health and safety, but we know better, don't we?
That's the way littlest of the small helpers, stand there and look cutely pathetic and you might get some more kiwi fruit for your basket.
I'm looking for these and if I don't get some soon I'm just going to throw these around.

The union is brought in to negotiate a fair deal.
Finally....
The tall picker listening to the workers concerns.
A production line is beginning here and the workers have agreed to share once again.
In the end both baskets were emptied into one.
A few kiwi fruit received the boot - literally, and the evil kat found a comfy seat somewhere he probably shouldn't have been.
