Some sights from the hop-on-hop-off bus tour of Washington that we did.
They love their flags.

More flags and very European looking buildings.
In fact that was what we noticed the most about Washington - how much it resembled London in its architecture and stone buildings.
Vietnam War Memorial.
We got off at the big memorials and had a look around.
erm... these two statues held some significance, which I can't remember right now.
Arlington.
We didn't get off at Arlington, just caught the glimpses as we went past on the bus.
We drove past the Pentagon but we were instructed that we were not allowed to take photos. We couldn't figure out why, it's just an officey looking building.... here's a nice photo of the bus rail. ;o)
And wow, isn't that a nice road? Pity that building got in the background.
