I have a dawg and his name is Wags...

It was Kindergarten's turn for an item at Assembly.
Georgie had been practising her song all week....

I have a dog and his name is Wags,
he eats so much that his tummy drags,
his ears flip flop and his tail wig wags and when he walks, he zigs and zags.
Flip, flop, wig, wag.... zig zag.
They were very cute and I have a little video (which is all shaky as James wanted to help, and help was the last thing he was as he leaped round everywhere. He had no nap that day and he was a true monster!)
Sitting in assembly.
Assembly has a whole heap of things happen in it... like certificates given out and sports awards.
The Cross Country winning house was announced....
the screams were almost deafening (well it's a small room)
Give us a B.... L.... A... X.... L....A...N....D - who's the best? BLAXLAND! who's the best? BLAXLAND!!who's the best? BLAXLAND!
Yep, Georgie's house won and it's amazing how quickly the Kindies have picked up on all the chants.
The kids are allowed to do one chant in assembly when the trophy is awarded and they make it as loud as they can. All good fun.
Meanwhile... out on the veranda trouble is gathering his posse.
The little boy sitting next to him is Adam, Aliya's (Georgie's friend) brother. James loves Adam. James doesn't listen to a word the girls say to him, and they try to keep him under control.

Yes, that is my son rattling the windows of the assembly hall.

He went on to pull compost out of the garden, run through the assembly (twice), pulled plants out and just be a general tear-away.

We only go to assembly on special occasions... I think school is happy about that.
