Walking home after Georige's assembly (Wags the Dog day) I had the camera and she begged to have a go, so I let her take some photos. I gave her no instructions except basically how to shoot it (it was Dan's little Canon Ixus), so what you see here is what she wants you to see and some interesting glimpses into her world.
The first person she pointed the camera at was James, who was more interested in his Thomas the Tank Engine stuff than posing like she wanted him to.
These are our shadows - we have several versions of these photos, she's quite fascinated with shadows.
This is a deep and complicated picture - her shoe meets her shadow, you have to know her to appreciate how truly deep this is.
The road before ours. One of her school friends lives down the end.
Our road runs off this one, just past the house on the right.
She spent time trying to compose this photo, which would have been especially hard with me going 'what are you doing? hurry up. you don't need a photo of that'. :o)
Looking at the gardens and foliage is her most favourite thing about walking to and from school, as well as what you can collect (nuts, flowers, seeds, grass, sticks, rocks the list seems to be endless).

The across the road neighbours + 1 extra (he's a friend too and was at G's Kindergarten, although a year above her)
She eventually turned the camera on herself, but her arms aren't quite long enough for it to be in focus. :o) She does like to look at close up photos of herself though.
And finally, back to James.
