James talks all the time.
Unfortunately most the time we can't understand a word he's saying. Anyone who meets him agrees he is definitely having a conversation.
(He makes himself clear when it's all about Thomas though.)
In the last couple of days James has had a bit of an upset tummy, which means he's had some wind (along with everything else that goes with an upset tummy) ... anyway, farts seem highly amusing to an almost (3 more days) 22 month old. He particularly likes farting in the bath, and not for the bubbles, he likes it when he's standing up because he likes the loud noise. It makes him laugh, it makes his sister laugh a lot!
[It must be said we probably fuelled this game by blowing raspberries on him and saying "oh Jamie" in funny voices. Or when he farts saying 'Who was that?' and pulling funny faces at him.]
So it amused both me and Dan when he was standing at the bottom of the stairs today, getting ready for a bath, and he farted a nice big raspberry and out of his little mouth, with a very cheeky grin on his face, came 'Who was that?' ......with my exact intonation. Giggles all round.
He won't say "Mum", but when it comes to farts, our boy can speak sentences. :o)
