Our little man turned two at the end of July.
And as is now tradition in our family he had, what seemed like, a never ending number of birthday cakes (and he only ate a little of one of them. He's a biscuit boy.)
So the first cake was while we were down on the farm. A nice Beechworth Bakery job.
Like all 2 year olds the candles (ie fire) are the most interesting and most desired part of the cake.
[Thomas was at the party too... of course.]
The icing is good...
.... but the plastic balloon decoration is better.
Bring on the presents. (What else is a big sister good for but making sure you get your presents.)
The one place we didn't seem to have any Thomas was the bath, now taken care of.
And this was a lovely wooden holder for all (or maybe just some with the number we have) of the trains.
And some chicken cars for the trains to pull.
Presents are extra good when they're nearly as tall as you.
Tidmouth Sheds! Now the engines don't have to hang out in the dolls house.
Some books, on his favourite subject matter, of course. (And in a side note, Georgie has actually been reading this to James before he goes to bed. The public education system does work!)
