Diane's Mum brought us a box of Crispy Creme donuts when she picked up Diane (completely unnecessary but it excited the kids).
James tried to convince me to let him eat donuts instead of dinner. I think the only thing that got him to eat dinner was that he could have a donut afterwards. A big box full of fried goodies was just too much for him.
Georgie was a bit more reserved, even though she's the one who lurves donuts, most of them were chocolate and she doesn't do chocolate.
So dinner was finished and the box was put in front of Jamie.
See that guilty look? He'd touched the donuts before dinner and got yelled at, here he had his hand on a donut waiting for someone to tell him 'no'.
mmmm... no one said 'no' so he started picking the chocolate bits off the top.
Look at those little fingers in there trying to decide which donut to eat - at this point he'd touched at least three! (He loves to stick Thomas stickers over himself, I cop a fair bit during the day too.)
mmmmmmmmmm

Time to try another.
ooooo chocolate and sprinkles.

This one's gooooood and colourful.

But what about that one?
Oh yeah, it's good too.
Oh look, this one has lines all over it.
Which one can Dad have?
I think the original answer was none! but he settled on the one with lines.
Take a nice big bight Dad.
Yummy?
That good, hey?
Time for another flavour.

This one is nice and sticky.

See that pile - well they're his. Can you tell the ones he hasn't touched?
Try again.

Maybe we should just call him "Homer". :o)

Another one for 'his' pile.

We ended up taking them away before he ended up too big to get out of his high chair.
Georgie had a couple of bites of one but wasn't too impressed - she likes her donuts hot with sugar on them, or with pink icing on top.
We salvaged those that weren't covered in finger or teeth marks and gave them to the guys across the road.
