Election time is annoying.
Council elections take annoying to the nth degree.
The kids love voting day though, they get to play on the school equipment.

I still don't know who won the election and what that is going to cost us.
And gee, even more good news, with all the carnage in State politics our local member resigned (not a bad thing from our point of view) so we're up for a by-election as well. Dan's hoping for a vote of no confidence and a whole state election.... maybe people won't be so stupid with their choices next time. *cough cough*

The Boy Wonder just loves parks and we've finally convinced him not to eat the bark on the ground.
There was a little boy, probably about 3-4 who took a real shining to Jamie.
We think the Boy Wonder has the super power of Friendship :o) with a built in killer smile he makes friends with anyone anywhere.
He loves loves loves slides. Swings.... hmm not so, but see slide, must swoosh.
Daddy eventually got brave enough to let him go by himself.

I thought they had elections so community groups could do fund-raising, or is it only in the country that every voting place has a raffle outside?
Kids look like they were having lots of fun. Maybe slides are better fun than eating bark!
