The Phuket Wedding

In October we went to Phuket for my brother's wedding. (The brother that lives in Canada, not my baby brother.)
It was a nice holiday and now, five months later, I find it hard to remember how hot it was. But it was hot... and sticky, even though we all look calm and collected.

Georgia and Aurora
Georgie had a pretty dress with butterflies all over it. It had a nice twirly skirt. She had some matching jewellery and we bought a beautiful frangipani hair clip in the Kata Beach markets.
James picked out his own clothes for the wedding. We went into Target one day and he picked the outfit out and told me that was what he wanted to wear for the wedding. He was funny about it too, he would open his wardrobe and tell me they were his clothes for the party at the wedding and wouldn't wear them at any other time. I was almost worried that he wouldn't wear them on the day, but the day came and that was the outfit he was looking for - of course.
Poor Uncle Tim. He spent all of the hot afternoon out smoothing out the sand for the wedding isle. James took one look at the sand and went running everywhere... the smooth no footprint section was too much for him and he went running up and down it until it looked like someone had partied all over it.

dum dum da dum.. here comes the bride.....

Georgie held Peggy's flowers and handed her one of the rings.

And look at Little Mister Shy - if she's up there being the centre of attention so am I!

My parents and the happy couple.

All the parents.
I'd like to tell you this is a random shot not catching them at their best, but nope, they were all being silly for the camera.
And again - yep, they posed that way.
Well they told me they were behaving... but....

The wedding was good but playing was great!
Nice views down the secluded beach.

Our happy family.

We sat and had drinks at the bar while the wedding party took photos.
Not a bad sunset is it?

This little man kept me company.

it ends here

That rounds up our trip to President's Club for 2010. :o)
Considering it's already 2011 I can tell you that we are going again! This time we're off to Bora Bora in Tahiti. Very nice.
Dan was salesman of the year for the company.
He told me he was good and he was right. :o))

March Madness

(I've gone a bit overboard on the photos.... sorry)

March afternoons are still warm enough to be playing out the back and the more water involved the better.
Squirting bottles are the best.

Look at that concentration.

Once he sprayed he cleaned up... this one looks promising!

Some one's up to mischief.

Point blank range.
Bottles at twenty paces.

Combining forces to get Daddy.
Oh yeah it's fun.
Uh oh, Daddy's got his own weapon now.
You go boy, squirt that Daddy.
Uh oh.. run Buddy run, he's powering up the super weapon.
Ruuuuuuuuuun.....
Squirting the garage door is a very popular activity. It often gets painted with water too.

Squirting Mummy's foot is ok but any minute now he's about to cop a 'Mummy cranky face' for squirting places that aren't my foot.
You've got to learn when to attack Dad... when he hasn't got the hose in his hand is a very good time.
But watch out when he does.
Uh oh, Daddy's been disarmed and the weapon is now in dangerous hands.
Run Daddy..
ruuuun
Not towards me!!!! Go away!

The apprentice has his turn with the hose... unfortunately his aim is pretty good.
Look out.
uh oh - Daddy's got wet pants.

One hose is no match for a two handed bottle attack.

Enough spraying, Georgie decides it's time to get fit - as if running round the yard already isn't exercise enough.
Push ups - she can do quite a few.
Jumping jacks.
Or star jumps maybe... depends on where you come from maybe?
erm, I don't know what you call these things but she seems to like them.
A few laps of the back yard.

Bit of ju-jitsu practise.

And then they found the skipping rope.
Dragging each other round the yard is one of their favourite games.
