Park Fun

We love this park in Wodonga. We'd love it even more if they put some suitable shade around, especially as we always end up visiting at the hottest time of the year.

Don't you love him in the hat? He is such a rat-packer.

The very famous pancake man outside our hotel. Lucky we didn't discover him on the first day as Georgia insisted on having one every night!

It was a seafood restaurant and the bus driver (who we'd hired for the day) took us there, it was *very* out of the way.

A rubber tree. Nope, I didn't take any, I was on a elephant at the time this was taken.


I wasn't on this elephant but look at the poor baby elephant chained to his mother, he was dragged around with her while people sat on top.
Elephant travel is neither fast nor comfortable.
I'm pretty sure it's them getting humans back for sticking a rope up their butts.

Tim had the best deal, he should have had Gigi and James but ended up with only one and we had James squished between us.
Dad sitting on the elephant's head. Apparently this is *incredibly* uncomfortable and if you look at the drivers they always sit with one leg up.
And if you're wondering they got suckered into buying some 'extras' when the drivers conveniently pull over in the middle of the trek and try to flog you things made out of elephant's teeth. Mum felt guilty so bought some... turns out they are plastic.)
We got to feed this little elephant some bananas.
And in return the elephant gave some kisses.
It's the weirdest feeling.

The pool at Patong (we moved from down near Kata up to Patong as the Internet said it was more family friendly.... we wouldn't do that again, but G had fun in kids club).
Thomas and Percy came with us, of course.
