Mum looked after the kids while we were away and did a great job.
They are a handful. Well two handfuls really. Both mentally and physically.
They're great kids, but you don't really get any day time time to relax and when night comes you tend to collapse into bed.
Anyway... Mum doesn't function too well without her daily dose of cappuccino - which is OK at her house she has her own machine. We don't drink coffee here so she has to go to the coffee shop just down the road from us.
Today as we were coming home from some grocery shopping we came round the coffee shop corner and a little voice from the back starts yelling
'datdundare, datdundare, datdundare'
he was very excited, arms waving everywhere.
It took me a minute.
He was excited over the coffee shop "that one there" he was telling me.
"oh" says I, "did Granma go to that coffee shop there"
'eeerrrr' was the reply.
Generation Z - the cafe latte set.

Isn't that wonderful, almost his first full sentence, and it's about the coffee shop! Got to teach them about priorities!
Aaah, but Granma secretly knows that there is a row of drink bottles in the fridge with Lightning McQueen labels which he grubbies the fridge door wishing he could have!!!
