While we visiting and it was nice and hot, we thought we'd better take our annual trip to Bright.
(We were hoping the fish and chip shop was still there...yumm! and we were in luck.)
Apart from the River and the little kids pool near the river there is also a really nice park under the shade of lots of big trees.
Jamie's eyes just lit up. He loved to play and slide. Georgie, as usual, was off hunting down someone to be her friend. She found a couple of girls and had some fun.
He conquered this one by himself - eventually. That was 3 months(ish) ago and he'd have no problem doing it now, you forget how just a short while ago they couldn't do things.
James isn't always as brave as Georgie, but he also doesn't have any sense of danger either. The edge means nothing to him and he is not scared of falling off so normally I follow him quite closely round the play equipment, but not this time - yay! I got to sit and watch and he did really well on it all.
We had a fish and chip picnic lunch then Georgie was desperate to get into the little pool to swim.
It was freezing! (of course)
It didn't stop her though.
