The floor has about a foot to go and it's finished - well it's laid anyway. The guy is coming to give it a first sand this Saturday and then the kitchen will go in on Thursday, along with the bathroom vanity and cupboard and the laundry cupboards. (The venting kit went across to Jim today). The stairs go in on Monday (they should have been in today!!! let's not go there).
The kitchen bench will be ready next week too. Once the stairs go in the toilet will go upstairs and the plumber will fit all the fittings through the bathroom finishing that off.
We want to lock in carpets this weekend so we can get them early in January.
We bought door handles today - who would have imagined that a simple door handle cost so much?
So we might (fingers crossed) have it all finished by Christmas. It certainly is getting to the exciting part, but it's also a race against time.
Oh.. Dan went to see Jim today and said the kitchen is looking fantastic.
Will try to get some pictures of the floor this weekend.
